Gary Gregory
President & CEO
Mr. Gregory has over 24 years of progressively challenging medical device responsibilities with
both prominent, leading companies and successful start-up companies. Mr. Gregory's medical device
experience spans numerous clinical arenas including Ophthalmology, Neurology, Cardio-Vascular
(Interventional Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Interventional Radiology,
and Electrophysiology), Orthopedics and General Surgery in the Acute Care and Point of Care
Environments.
Mr. Gregory has demonstrated a record of leadership, innovation and results in diversified
executive roles. His direct experience spans across 15 different professional roles with significant business
accomplishments delivered throughout each progression in responsibility. He has a foundation of building and
leading strong businesses and organizations.
Prior to ADx, Mr. Gregory held management and sales roles with Johnson & Johnson, Baxter and
Kendall Health care and entrepreneurial experience with NeuroMetrix and PrimeSource Healthcare. Mr.
Gregory graduated with a B.S. Economics, Business Administration Minor from The Pennsylvania State
University.
Shazhou Zou
Vice President, Engineering
Mr. Zou has over 20 years of biomedical engineering experience spanning commercial, clinical and
research applications in the medical device arena. Mr. Zou has worked with the EyeTel Imaging
and the DigiScope Technology for over 10 years, starting his work while at The Ophthalmic Laboratory
within The Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins University and then becoming the leading
member of the engineering team at EyeTel Imaging. From the inception forward, Mr. Zou has played an
integral role in the development and commercialization of the DigiScope Technology.
His experience and focus at EyeTel spans the DigiScope's optics, hardware, software and the
EyeTel / ADx Telemedicine platform. In addition to his work at EyeTel, Mr. Zou has advanced the
development of a Retinal Thickness Analyzer (RTA) and a Laser Targeted Delivery System. Prior to this,
he worked as a Biomedical Engineer for The Johns Hopkins University and Xiangya Medical
School.
Mr. Zou received a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Xiangya Medical School and a B.S. in
Electrical Engineering from Wuhan University in Hubei, China.
Mark H. Hyman (MD, FACP, FAADEP)
Director
Dr. Hyman is an Associate Professor on the clinical faculty at the University of California - Los
Angeles (UCLA). He was born in Detroit and attended The University of Michigan for undergraduate studies.
He pursued medical school, internship and residency at UCLA. Now an Associate Professor, his
internal medicine research and interests have expanded to include headaches, smoking cessation,
spinal disorders, police arrest techniques, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, impairment and workers'
compensation issues. He is currently publishing research on worker compensation patients for
sleep disorders, addictions and digital retinal examinations. He is a fellow of the American College of
Physicians and the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians.
Dr. Hyman is on the National Board of Directors for AADEP. He has published many articles and
is a chapter author for the American Medical Association books, A Physician's Guide to Return
to Work, Guides to Disease and Injury Causation, Guides to Functional Capacity Evaluations,
Guides Transition Book as well as the Contributing Editor for the AMA Guides 6th Edition. He is on the
board for the Guides Newsletter and a reviewer for the Guides Casebook Third edition. Dr. Hyman also
served as the chair for the Internal Medicine section of the Medical Disability Advisor Fifth Edition.
He has lectured extensively for legal groups, Insurance Industry and at National Disability
meetings.
Dr. Hyman has testified before the United States Congress as a national expert on disability
issues. WebMD selected Dr. Hyman for their annual award Heroes of Health.
Anthony M. Lamport
Director
Mr. Lamport is the president of Lambda Fund Management, a general partner of four venture capital
funds, which he founded in 1990. Previously he was at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he established the
firm's venture capital funds.
He is presently a director of SeniorBridge, which performs in-home care for the elderly on a
private pay basis, and Surgical Concept Designs, which sells a device for assisting orthopedic surgeons.
In the past he served as a director of 6 public and 10 private companies.
Mr. Lamport received a B.A. cum laude in Mathematics from Harvard College, and an M.B.A. from the
Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Tucker Taylor
Director
Mr. Taylor was a founding member of the management team at Federal Express. For ten years,
beginning in 1973, he held senior management positions including Customer Service, National Sales, Ground
Operations, and System Engineering. Subsequently, he has invested in both the health care sector and the transportation
sector.
In addition to investing, he held senior management positions in strategic planning and process
improvement at Medical Care America (outpatient surgery centers) leading a quality improvement program that
resulted in a successful application for the Malcolm Baldrige Award. In addition, he served for ten years
as a Director at Cornell Companies (NYSE: CRN)
Mr. Taylor is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Trek Holdings, a 100% owner of American
Medical and Life Insurance Company, a specialty Accident and Health Insurer, and is a Director of
CaseStack Inc., a privately held Third Party Logistics firm.
Mr. Taylor also serves as a management consultant and resource at ADx, working with the CEO up to
7-10 days per month. Mr. Taylor received a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.
